Fair warning; my mom just found out today she's going to have to have a knee replacement, which takes her off her feet for about three to six months total. I don't know when the surgery is scheduled, because she hasn't yet. If I'm lucky, it'll be after my date, but I won't know more until Friday or so. *sigh* Put me down as pending, and I'll clarify for you as soon as I know anything.

I may be slightly late with the Whitney essay - depending on time zones I may not be as I only just realised it was due today for me. I have it almost done, but I'd like a little longer to polish, so I'm planning to post tomorrow, which may still be the 20th in the US.

If that's a problem at all, please let me know.

Okay. I hate to do this but I'm getting completely slammed by school and Netflix is being glitchy so I wasn't able to re-watch all of Andromeda like I wanted to. I don't really want to write a manifesto when I haven't seen one of the seasons in four years, needless to say, so I'm going to need an extension on the Seamus Harper and Trance Gemini essays please.

Also, I'm having some trouble writing them because I'm not sure how, even beyond a few fuzzy memories. Should I just assume that anyone reading the essay has as much experience with the show as myself? Or should I try some background?

No worries. I've already rescheduled you. December 12th for Harper and December 27th for Trance. Let me know if require more time or need different dates.

Hmm I'd say, assume that readers have even less experience with the show as you have. You don't have to go into a long, detailed fandom overview, just briefly enlighten us on what the show is about, just the basics. A paragraph will do. Then, move on to the character.

I've noticed that someone has already done an essay on Wesley (from Angel) but I would like to do an essay on him anyway. Would that be okay? Also, if that's okay, can I write the essay on Wes with someone else, as in a joint essay?

I was originally scheduled to write the Harry Potter essay; I have about a third of it written but was unable to finish it by Nov 4 due to RL issues. I would still like to write it (and need about a week to finish it), but I understand if you want to pass on the character to someone else. Just let me know what you decide.

I'm brand new here, so I don't know if more than one person can write about the same character. I'd love to write something about Giles from BTVS. If not, I didn't see Xena and Hercules on the series lists. I wrote a bio of Callisto a few years ago for Whoosh, but (given time) I'd like to write about Nebula from HTLJ.

I was wondering if I could post a second Methos essay. I know one has already been posted, and it was great don't get me wrong (I mean no offense). It just wasn't my interpretation of Methos and I'd like to give another take on it.

Sounds good. If you'd like to focus on one specific trait or aspect of the character, go ahead. A different interpretation/overview is also welcome. We share so many favorites. *g*
